The setup behind the videos
One of the first microscopes I used was the B120C. I use a T490 for many of my videos, mostly with a phone held over an eyepiece by an adapter. I also work with an Echo Revolve; it isn’t equipment you need to follow these beginner guides.
On the equipment page, I separate a starter setup from the lenses and supplies you might add later.
What happens before a clear clip
A finished video leaves out the practical work: preparing a thin sample, finding it at low magnification, and lining up the camera. The pond-water guide starts with the jar and coverslip. The filming guide picks up once the view is sharp.
If the image is blank or blurry, use the troubleshooting guide to check one thing at a time. You don’t need to buy another lens before checking the slide, light, and focus.
